TEX BOYS: Hunter Adams Commits to Notre Dame de Namur

McNeil senior goalie Hunter Adams has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Notre Dame de Namur University.
Adams said he also considered Pfeiffer, Messiah and Ithaca before he settled on the Belmont, Calif.-based school.
“I really liked the environment there,” Adams said. “The coaches and players were really nice. I got along with them well. As far as the location, compared to the other schools, it really reminded me of Austin.”
Adams added that he is excited to make the transition to the college game and believes NDNU has a bright future.
“I think I can definitely make an impact on the team,” Adams said. “I know the first year is going to be tough, but I think we can definitely make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.”
