TEX HS: Father and Son Take Over at St. Anthony's Catholic
Related:
St. Anthony’s Catholic has hired alum Nathan Torok to be the new head coach of the school’s boys varsity lacrosse team.
Torok will be assisted by his father, Mark, who started the San Antonio-based school’s lacrosse program. Nathan Torok played at St. Anthony’s in 2002 and 2003.
It will be a challenging season for the duo, as St. Anthony’s will only use players who attend the school for the first time.
“Before this year, we were one of the teams that took quite a few kids from different schools,” Nathan Torok said. “This year, the school is transitioning into making it a varsity program, so we’ve got 35 brand-new kids that haven’t touched a lacrosse stick before.”
